Hey, Womxn Project friends.
While we are working hard to make sure that women in our state have the right to abortion, we also need to make it clear how important it is that the right is a reality. We need to fight for affordable access to quality care. We need to get rid of the barriers that make it harder for young people or that deny health coverage for abortion and push care out of reach for low-income people.
For the THIRD time in just one month, President Trump and his anti-abortion friends in Congress are trying to push abortion care out of reach by attacking abortion coverage. They are trying to discourage health plans from offering benefits, so that people can obtain care regardless of their income. Well we are fighting back.
We are sick of politicians playing politics with our healthcare and our lives. Want to learn more about what’ up with Roe and the state of legal abortion across the country? Sign up now to RSVP for a live discussion between NARAL Pro-Choice America’s Ilyse Hogue and political strategist, Jessica McIntosh on February 25th, 2019 from 8:00-8:30PM EST.
Together, we will continue to speak up, speak out and make things happen!
