Through civic engagement, policy advancement, and artivism, The Womxn* Project takes action to secure reproductive freedom, LGBTQ+ rights, and government transparency in Rhode Island.

We use art and activism to build grassroots movements that strengthen and defend civil rights throughout Rhode Island.

Our Bodily Freedom Forever Index Produce provides transparency on where candidates stand on key issues, for every single election.

Delivering on our Mission

We routinely host community events and form lobbying coalitions to create a state that values bodily freedom:

3 Reproductive Rights Acts passed since 2019
2 Civil Rights Bills passed since 2022
Formed a statewide grassroots response team to protect LGBTQ+ students

TWP has a sibling organization we work in collaboration with, the TWP Education Fund. TWPEF specializes in "artivism" as a tool to educate folks on the legislative process and generate greater participation in local politics through community building and creativity.
