WHAT A WEEK! We spoke out and helped stop an anti-abortion House resolution, showed up and testified for bills to end discrimination against LGBT parents and halt the practice of charging higher insurance rates to women, and distributed hundreds of postcards to the chair of House Finance to push for a hearing on our bill! Woo hoo!
This is The Womxn Project in action – all of us coming together to educate and mobilize to make a positive change. We are so grateful to the activists who continue to show up at community events throughout Rhode Island and who speak up with us at the State House.
We have another BIG week coming up and we will need you!
Celebrate all we have done together and support the Rhode Island delegation traveling for arguments at the United States Supreme Court next week.

Can’t make it to Washington to rally at the Supreme Court?
You can still speak out and take a stand for abortion access! We are proud to join the Rhode Island Coalition for Reproductive Freedom in organizing a #Repro4RI4All Lobby Day NEXT Wednesday, March 4th at the Rhode Island State House.
Together, we will continue to push for support for House Bill 7618/Senate Bill 2476, which will get rid of bans on health coverage for abortion for state employees and people who use Medicaid. Let’s push for a hearing and continue to urge our lawmakers to vote “yes” on this critical bill. Click here to learn more.

We will not only get loud to continue to protect our right to abortion, but also make sure that when people need care they can get it regardless of income or the type of insurance they have, how old they are or where they live. That is what it looks like to defend health, dignity and bodily autonomy!
Let’s keep on working and fighting and striving together!
