We are looking for our government to make access to abortion coverage for all folx in the state equal. For example, our state employee health plans cover about 32,000 Rhode Islanders – at least half of whom could become pregnant. And the state Medicaid program covers close to 20,000 women of child-bearing age. We have policies in place that deny these folks benefits if they need an abortion. So using tools to reach out and make our voices heard- and expanding those voices- is essential.
We all have a role to play. Come learn how to tap in!
Join TWP, the Latino Policy Institute and the Let RI Vote coalition to push for improved voting access. Voting rights are deeply linked to ALL the issues we care about, including our work to ensure abortion access.
