The House Judiciary Committee just voted the Provider Protection Shield Act out of committee and now it heads to the House floor!
This bill will have an incredible impact on our state’s medical care providers and sends a strong message that Rhode Island is a safe haven for those whose bodily freedom has been torn from them by their state governments.
We are so grateful to Rep John Edwards, who sponsored the bill in the House, and to all the community activists who refused to rest until this bill moved forward. We never get enough of seeing what wonderful things can happen when a community comes together!
