On March 4th, the United States Supreme Court will hear arguments in a case brought by the Center for Reproductive Rights. The lawsuit challenges a 2014 Louisiana law that would require every doctor who provides abortions to have admitting privileges at a hospital within thirty miles of where the abortion is performed.
The decision in this case could have a HUGE impact on the kinds of laws that are allowed to stand and where the right to abortion will essentially be stripped away for a large swath of the country. We cannot just sit by and watch this happen. We will be there.
