The Womxn Project to Mark Dobbs Anniversary with a Film Screening and Projections at RI Supreme Court
Despite strides toward reproductive justice, organizers remind RI that there’s more work to do
PROVIDENCE – June 22 – On June 23, activists from The Womxn Project (TWP) and The Womxn Project Education Fund will gather at the Rhode Island Supreme Court at 8pm for their latest projection project. This public art intervention will serve as both a collective acknowledgement of the Dobbs decision anniversary and proof that local activists will not back down from encouraging the state to support human dignity.
In concert with the projection, TWP, in partnership with Plan C, a nonprofit that provides education on medication abortion, will host a limited virtual streaming of the documentary Plan C. This 48-hour limited access will be available to Rhode Islanders in advance of the film’s fall premiere. Sign up for special access to the documentary here: https://watch.eventive.org/planc/play/6491834485adc5002688d4be
