The threat to Roe v. Wade is real, and we need to take action here in The Ocean State!

Q. What is it like to lobby?
A. Coming from the South (I moved to RI from Little Rock, Arkansas in June 2017), I’m a talker.
As a lobbyist for TWP, I talk to Senators and State Representatives regarding the RHCA (Reproductive Health Care Act).
Depending on where a Senator or State Rep. may fall on the spectrum of reproductive justice- I may thank them for their support; or, if they are not a co-sponsor of the RHCA, I may ask that they vote yes if it were to come to the floor for a vote.
It has been my experience that Rhode Island legislators are typically very receptive.
Even if they may not be supportive of the RHCA, they are almost always respectful, courteous, and at least pretend to be listening to what I have to say ; )
Q. What is it like if we are not sure how our Senator or State Rep. feels about the RHCA?
