Hello Womxn Project Movement!
Coming at you with a message to share the MANY opportunities to speak out with us to turn up the heat and push through the Reproductive Health Care Act (S 152A).
We are sooooo close, but we have to work hard to maintain the momentum to see this campaign through!
A new and fun action is happening this Sunday from 11:00am-12:00pm in Coventry. We are doing a “honk and wave” to put some pressure on Senator Raptakis.
We will be out in force in his district with signs asking folks to “HONK if they support the RHCA” or “HONK if you want to protect the right to abortion”. Our infamous mobile billboard will be out there with us, so you can get a picture with the truck. It seems silly, but it shows that supporters are watching and that we are not going anywhere. It puts the issue out there and helps ramp up pressure to pass the bill.
After we make ourselves seen and heard, we will head over to the Coventry Public Library to do postcards. Join us! We will meet up at the intersection of Tiogue Avenue and Hopkins Hill Road. Contact Jordan ([email protected] or 401-829-9519).
There are a bunch of ways to get involved.
Here’s a list of options:
1. Canvass in North Providence
2. “Postcards and pints” writing in Wakefield
3. Talk with Senator Seveney and Representative Cortvriend in Portsmouth
4. Then on Sunday night we have our big FUN’draiser.

Finally, join us at the delicious Sin bakery (at 1413 Westminster Street in Providence) for light appetizers and hear the latest on the campaign and how you can be part if it all! Cocktails and delicious desserts will be available for purchase. There is a $20 suggested donation at the door.
