FLOOR VOTE TONIGHT – be there in this critical moment!

Dear Womxn Project friends,
Excluding abortion care from public insurance programs has taken away the right to abortion for far too many people for far too long. Folks from across Rhode Island are headed to the State House TONIGHT to see that change. The Senate floor vote on the Equality in Abortion Coverage Act (S32) begins around 4pm. We are also hearing that the House will IMMEDIATELY take it up (procedural step) and that the governor is poised to sign it TONIGHT!

• JOIN US! Grab your favorite green shirt and be there for this big moment. Our team will start to arrive around 3pm and the vote is scheduled for 4pm on the Senate floor with the governor rumored to sign it around 6pm.
• Can’t be there? You can still help make it happen! Find your senator and take a moment RIGHT NOW to send an email, “I am your constituent. I am urging you to VOTE YES ON S32, the Equality in Abortion Coverage Act.” It will only take a moment, but could make a big difference!
