Join The Womxn Project Team at the RI State House each Tuesday and Thursday from 3-4:30pm. We will meet in front of the State Room on the second floor of the building.
Session starts on January 6 and goes until the budget is signed into law, around mid-June 2026. Rhode Island has a part time legislature.
Navigating the “People’s House” or more commonly called, the Rhode Island State House, can be daunting and confusing at times. Lauren and Jocelyn walk you through it with highlights on parking for it, safely crossing the street close to it, accessible entrances options, entrance to the House of Representatives, as well as going into the gallery seating areas for the House and Senate Chambers.
Any questions can be directed to the Secretary of State’s Office at www.sos.ri.gov or (401) 222-3983.
Below are videos and images of people getting involved and their expressions of activism.
