As the Senate is just wrapping their first day on the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett, The Womxn Project’s Stephanie Olarte is sharing all of our very real concerns about the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett.
Did you know?
→ Barrett wants to strike down the Affordable Care Act, which has been vital to people with disabilities.
→ She backs Trump administration’s “public charge” rule, which discriminates against immigrants with disabilities.
→ She was also part of a Wisconsin decision essentially saying schools can refuse to transfer a student with disabilities because they need support services.

Barrett record is HORRIFYING! The Womxn Project is proud to join disability justice who are contacting their senators to say we should not be holding hearings during an election and we should not support a nominee who would take away gains for people with disabilities and take this country backwards!

TOMORROW am! Call the Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121 for voice or 202-224-3091 for TTY (for folx who are hard of hearing). They will connect you to your US Senator so you can help make sure to protect our rights and protect our Court!
Amy Coney Barrett should NOT be given a lifetime appointment on the highest court in the land. Judge Barrett’s record demonstrates a hostility to rights that are critically important to people with disabilities.
We need to make our voices heard and make it clear that this process is unacceptable and tis nominee is unacceptable. No on this nominee and NO VOTE BEFFORE INAUGURATION!
