We have worked hard to build community with you. In this tough time, please know we are still here. We are continuing to share updates, resources and calls to action on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We are also working to create moments that we can continue to engage and connect while we stay home and stay safe. We will get through this together. Sending love to you all.
If you have the interest, energy, time:
|1| Join us for a virtual happy hour on Tuesday, April 7th from 6-7pm.
Let’s come together to keep up our spirits and be there for each other! We will plan on a few lovely surprises as well.
|2| Be part of our virtual phonebank. A simple way to help our communities is to make sure that we all fill out the Census, so federal lawmakers have accurate data for funding for important programs – things like healthcare, education, childcare, housing and employment. It only takes a few minutes, but will have long lasting impacts – fill it out TODAY! You can also help us make calls to fellow Rhode Islanders to make sure they are counted! We will share a script and a short list to call when you have a few minutes.
|3| Check out the latest from #SustainingCommunity. We are proud to collaborate with the SisterSong: National Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective, the Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights (COLOR) and the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice on a series of videos to share support, resources and calls to action to keep making a difference. Don’t miss this inspiring and informative series!
It is a troubling time, but it is also an opportunity to make it clear that we will keep showing up for the people we work with and for – no matter what. We would love to hear how you are getting through and how we can help. Reach out and stay connected!
