Rhode Island is facing a wave of anti-abortion bills that we see every year with attacks of gender diverse youth sweeping the state. Additionally, since Medicaid is under threat due to federal budget pressures there is a range of crisis that TWP and Coalitions alike are trying to protect for our most neglected communities.
Our state should prioritize covering Medicaid, not projects like building a bridge that neglect our communities’ basic human rights needs.
